what its all about

So...

Being excellent to each other. Isn't that a big part of what the Good News is all about?

We have been given the opportunity to know and interact with the Living God. To have His breath, His creative spirit, move within us and speak to our hearts. We are invited to be His children and heir to His Kingdom.

Not only has every person we gaze upon been extended this invitation- but every being has been designed to reflect a different facet of His character. Isn't that exciting? I think that when we are told to love, we are in part being told to encourage. When we love something, we invest ourselves in it, we do what we can to see it come into completion and rise to its fullest potential.

Followers of Christ are supposed to be the salt of the earth and known by their love. Sadly, this is rarely the case. we are often the hops of the earth (bittering agent) and known by our intolerance and frailty. i hope that all of us that seek Him can be truly transformed more and more so that we really live a life of love. Because that is what it is about. we need to be loving the world. there is so much death, anger, resentment and conflict going on in the world right now- and most of it is born out of religious extremism. We are to fight it by loving. Loving everyone. the annoying. the needy. the emotionally unstable. ever person ever born is seen by Him as pure and robed in glory. I pray that i can keep my eyes on the Father and my heart turned to Him all the time, so that when I interact with the world, I love it. and bring Light into this place.
